Job Description

Hey everyone 👋I’m looking for someone entrepreneurial, creative, and passionate about film, travel, and cultural heritage to join me in growing CineTrail. This live app helps people discover real-world film locations through curated walking trails.CineTrail already has 3,000+ downloads and a dedicated audience of film fans through our TikTok account @thecinebloke (105,000+ followers). We’ve mapped over a thousand filming spots across the UK, from cult classics to blockbusters, and the app is live on both iOS and Android. The concept works, the audience is real, and there’s a lot of potential ahead. But as I’ve recently started a new full-time role, I’m now looking for someone who can take the lead in running CineTrail day-to-day, helping it grow, develop partnerships, and move toward monetisation.💼 The RoleThis is a part-time Managing Partner position with room to evolve into a Co-Founder role as CineTrail grows. You’ll be responsible for driving growth, managing operations, and shaping the company’s next phase.Key areas of focus: • Business Development: Lead outreach to potential partners, from local venues and tourism boards to film festivals and cultural organisations. You’ll be expected to identify opportunities, manage the pipeline, and bring in new collaborations. • Marketing & Growth: Oversee CineTrail’s marketing strategy, including social media, influencer engagement, and campaign planning. You’ll work closely with existing brand channels to grow the user base and strengthen our community of film fans. • Funding & Partnerships: Research and apply for grants, investor funding, and sponsorships to support CineTrail’s expansion. You’ll help turn our vision into a scalable and sustainable business. • Operations: Manage the daily running of the platform, from maintaining listings and managing CRM data to coordinating with our developer and content team. • Strategy: Work directly with me (Lester) to refine the roadmap, prioritise features, and set achievable milestones for user growth and revenue generation.⏰ Commitment• Part-time: Around 20–25 hours per week, flexible schedule. • Location: Ideally London or Surrey-based (to meet occasionally in South/Central London for strategy sessions), but hybrid or remote is fine for the right person.💰 Compensation & StructureSince CineTrail is early-stage but revenue-ready, this will start as a profit-share and equity-based role: • Profit share: 10–15% of net profit once CineTrail becomes profitable. • Equity: 8–12% vested over 18–24 months, dependent on contribution and milestones. • Future: The position has a clear path to evolve into a Co-Founder role as CineTrail scales. This structure is designed to reward initiative, ownership, and tangible impact, so if you help the platform grow, you’ll share directly in that success.🎥 Who This Might SuitThis could be a great fit for someone who: • Loves film, travel, and cultural heritage. • Has experience in marketing, partnerships, product management, or startup growth. • Enjoys building communities and connecting creative ideas with real-world experiences. • Has an entrepreneurial mindset and wants to shape something meaningful alongside their current work. • Believes in the long-term potential of a project that connects audiences, culture, and sustainable tourism.🌍 About CineTrailCineTrail connects film fans with the real places where stories were made.
