Our global network includes facilities in Canada, the United States and Hungary ensuring regional expertise and global strength.The PositionThe Manual Machinist will assist in the development and implementation of machining policies and procedures, liaise directly with other department personnel to ensure project goals are met on budget, while delivering the Eclipse Vision and the Eclipse Entrepreneurial CultureWhat You'll Be DoingRead and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tablesSet up, operate, and maintain various manual machine tools, such as saws, lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drill presses.Measure and lay out workpieces and use precision measuring instruments like micrometers and calipers to verify that finished products are accurate and conform to specifications.Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close toleranceEnsure the proper maintenance, calibration, and safe operation of machine tools and measuring equipment.Ability to work in a team environment and actively participate in group meetings safelyNotify the appropriate departments if milestones are not metAdhere to the Eclipse Project Operating PolicyWork requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsWork requires willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and or travel as required in varying timelinesMaintain good corporate citizen role in support of the Eclipse corporate VisionEnsure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Eclipse Automation Inc.
