Manual QA Engineer

We are seeking a Manual QA Engineer with 4+ years of experience to contribute to a cloud-based data warehouse and reporting solution. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, persistent, and focused on delivering high-quality, resilient systems.Key Responsibilities:Lead QA efforts for system releases, ensuring production stability and accuracy.Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across Application Support, Group Risk, and other tech/business teams.Develop and execute test plans, define coverage, and investigate discrepancies.Required Skills:Business & Process:Strong understanding of capital markets, financial risk (market/credit), clearing, and margining.Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, Jira, and Zephyr.Skilled in planning and executing Functional, SIT, UAT, and Regression testing.Proven stakeholder management and communication skills.Technical:Solid experience with Oracle databases and SQL/PLSQL.Familiarity with UNIX (PuTTY); scripting is a plus.Exposure to tools like GitLab and Control-M.Bonus: Knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Java, Cucumber, Python, Spring Boot, Ansible).Behavioral Attributes:Strong team player with leadership capabilities.Comfortable working with distributed teams.Proactive in resolving conflicts and driving tasks to completion.
