Manual QA Engineer

𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 (Istanbul, Turkey)We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer, specialising in manual testing to support testing activities and ensure the quality of critical applications. In this role, you will design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure robust, reliable, and high-quality software delivery.𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀• Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios based on business and functional requirements.• Perform manual, smoke, functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing for complex enterprise applications.• Conduct exploratory testing to detect defects, validate performance and usability, and ensure adherence to requirements.• Manage test plans, track defects, and report test results using Azure DevOps (or similar tools).• Collaborate with development, product, and business teams to define test strategies and resolve issues.• Query and validate data using SQL to ensure accuracy and data integrity.• Maintain and improve test documentation, regression packs, and contribute to overall QA process improvement.• Participate in daily stand-ups, QA reviews, and other sprint-related ceremonies.• Takes initiative to clarify unclear requirements, challenge assumptions, and ensure alignment on acceptance criteria.𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.• Minimum 3 years of experience in manual software testing within enterprise application environments.• Experience writing test cases and test plans.• Ability to analyze requirements / user stories and overall great attention to details.• Ability to identify edge cases and potential bugs.• Strong knowledge of SDLC, QA methodologies, and test design techniques (ISTQB certification is a plus).• Hands-on experience with test management and bug tracking tools (Azure DevOps, JIRA, TestRail, etc.).• Strong SQL skills for data validation and troubleshooting.• Excellent analytical, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.• Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced, multinational environment.𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀• Experience in automation frameworks (e.g., Ranorex) for sanity or regression automation is a plus.• Familiarity with the commodity trading, finance, or oil & gas domain.• Prior exposure to deploying and validating updates in testing environments (e.g., Skyhook).• Ability to contribute to team knowledge sharing and mentor junior QA members.• Experience with API testing (Postman, SoapUI).𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮By submitting your resume, you agree to the retention and use of your personal data by TSG for recruitment purposes, including sharing with our clients in the context of your application.
