Job Description

What You’ll Do Demonstrated ability to accurately deal with multiple technical tasks ensuring timely completion as per business requirements. (Multi-Tasking) Work to implement Process improvements to improve part quality , reduce cycle time and cost. Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment as an individual contributor. Transition Project Manufacturing Engineer will be Single Point of Contact for the Technical Transition Programs and focal point from BLR for Smooth STP Transitions. Responsible for creating , executing and tracking the technical transition milestones of STP Project. Serves as a Transition Lead based on project allocation in Technology transition realization utilizing STP Prolaunch Framework, Gate Reviews, Design Reviews and Technical Reviews. Demonstrated ability to work in a cross functional and collocated teams in multiple regions with excellent communication skills. Create Part Manufacturing feasibility analysis ( PQPR ) , Identify Process /Product /Manufacturing /Equipment /Tooling Risks and resolve them Proactively Experience with GD&T and Drawing reading / model interrogation. Good understanding of Assembly sequencing , GD&T, Aerospace Manufacturing documentation , Nadcap , and AS 9100 System Requirements. Well versed with Equipment Procurement Process including Technical feasibility, Ordering , Installation, Commissioning and Validation. Address the MRB conditions and recommend and implement necessary corrective actions. (8D, RCCA, Etc.,) Participation in Change Board and Configuration activities. Create Part Manufacturing Data sheets, First article inspection documentation , manufacturing Process Planning documentation . Provide support to production floor with drawing and technical specifications interpretations to ensure business delivers its commitments. Prevent Process bottlenecks and improve processes for manufacturing engineering activities using Lean Tools and participating in Process improvement intiatives. (RIE, CI, 6 Sigma etc.,) Good Verbal and Written communication Skills. Shall present the numerical data effectively . Expert in Manufacturing Process Planning, Creation of BOMs, Creation of Technical/Manufacturing instructions, PPAP tools such as PFMEA , MSA, Control plans, and SPC. Experience in Aerospace Processes and materials and must be from Manufacturing Background. Very Good Working experience of NADCAP requirements. Demonstrated experience using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies for Process Improvements. Demonstrated experience on tooling design and manufacturing. Basic Knowledge of Industry 4.0 is preferable with good familiarity with 3D Printing and 3D scanning technologies.QualificationsEducation level required: Bachelor of Engineering ( Mechanical, Aerospace )Years and area of experience required: Minimum 5 YearsTechnical knowledge: Aerospace Assembly, Fabrication, Forming Processes, Machining, GD&T, APQP, Six Sigma, AS 9100, NPD, Special Processes, Tooling and Fixturing, NADCAP
