Our technology benefits millions of people every day – making travel safer, supporting sustainable energy transition, efficiently heating, cooling our homes, and helping our world stay connected.Now let’s hear it directly from the creators – About | John CraneConnect with us on LinkedIn: John Crane: LinkedInJob DescriptionManage, supervise, and control—aligned with the organization’s objectives—the human, financial, and technological resources, ensuring the maintenance of plant facilities and equipment to guarantee their reliable and proper functioning.Duties & Responsibilities (not limited to)Coordinate the development of projects and processes within the area to ensure timely and accurate results.Coordinate and develop plant personnel by complying with the training plan and using appropriate evaluation tools.Maintain certifications, licenses, and permits required by various government entities.Plan and coordinate the annual maintenance plan and program.Establish specific goals and objectives for assigned processes and areas under your responsibility, as well as implement actions for their achievement and monitoring.Prepare budgets, investment projects (CAPEX), and cost-saving initiatives for the area.Support in analyzing machine failures based on equipment manuals and root cause analysis methodology.Contact and evaluate external suppliers for specialized technical support.Coordinate and provide preventive actions for all internal and external maintenance issues.Prepare monthly reports for your area (KPIs) through monitoring, identifying improvements, implementing actions, and following up.Coordinate with plant departments on projects aimed at continuous improvement, as well as teamwork for implementing corrective actions.Delegate tasks appropriately to direct reports, leveraging their talents, skills, and potential effectively. Create an atmosphere of trust and safety, always providing employees with a clear understanding of expectations.Hold meetings with staff to review activities and ensure deadlines are met, as well as monitor attendance, discipline, motivation, and responsibility compliance.Coordinate with the Human Resources department for scheduling training and development related to your areas of responsibility.Lead and coordinate quality management system audits with the participation of the internal audit team.Carry out special assignments as required by the Plant Manager.Ensure that the requirements of Safety and Health Management Systems (OHSAS 18001), Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001), and Quality Management Systems are implemented and maintained in your area, as well as all government and customer requirements and standards.QualificationsEducation / Courses: Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Control and Automation, Robotics, or related field (completed).Experience:Minimum 6 years as a Manufacturing Team Leader, in standardization or CAPEX projects.3 years in global implementation projects.Knowledge / Skills:English: Advanced / FluentMaintenance area expertisePersonnel and supplier managementMaterial resource management and process improvement methodologyInterpretation of mechanical and electrical drawings for machinery assembly (desirable)Mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity, and electronicsContinuous improvement systems: Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPMISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 standardsNegotiation, change management and analytical skillsERP usage (SAP desirable)CNC manufacturing processesDiversity ClauseWe believe that different perspectives and backgrounds are what make a company flourish.
