We have 20 years’ experience in the area of gas turbines and fuel cell systems, not only as a supplier of components but also as a system integrator.Currently we are looking for a Manufacturing & Metrology Engineer in Lummen (Belgium):As a Manufacturing & Metrology Engineer you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality goods within Bosal’s prototyping and small-series environment.Your responsibilities: Setting up, optimizing and monitoring manufacturing processes with a strong focus on ‘First-Time-Right’ principles.Ensuring all measuring, testing, welding analysis and general quality monitoring activities are executed according to the control plan and metrology standards.Troubleshooting production issues, selecting suitable equipment and continuously improving manufacturing methods.Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams to drive innovation and excellence in production.Working with appropriate quality and statistical tools to maintain controlled processes and process quality. Overall responsibility for equipment, process optimization, quality and inspection activities.Your profile: Skills & Experience:Master degree in (Mechanical) Engineering or equivalent through on the job experience.At least 3 years’ experience in a similar (international) environment. Experience in automotive is a plus. Knowledge of industrial metal forming and welding processesKnowledge of quality core tools such as APQP, FMEA, MSA is a strong plusYou are a good communicator, independent, enthusiastic and proactive.
