Job Description

This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project.Develops, implements and maintains various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration. Assists with development and integration of suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements. Assists in reviewing supplier data to ensure manufacturing related requirements are met. Identifies tooling requirements and initiates tooling orders based on manufacturing and engineering requirements. Assists in tooling dispositions. Investigates and resolves manufacturing related issues of limited scope. Assists with reproducibility assessments for part or product designs. Assists in providing input to design, manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules. Develops work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments. Assists in the review, maintenance and monitoring of internal documents. Works under general supervision.Job DescriptionBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):4+ Years experience in manufacturing planning & production supportExperience in CAD software and manufacturing simulation toolsExperience reading, interpreting, and enforcing standardized manufacturing processes, work instructions, and engineering drawing and process proceduresExcellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skillsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)STEM focused Associate’s degreeExperience in Model-Based DesignExperience in Geometric Dimensioning and TolerancingExperience in MESci or similar Manufacturing systemExperience in Material Resource Planning (MRP) Systems (eg.
