Our aim is to extend the lifecycle of the product, as our people are able to provide an exceptional level of customer service and support, based on their expertise and professionalism.PharOS is seeking for a Manufacturing Support Technician - Malta Based (4 shift basis) within the Engineering department as follows:Role and ResponsibilitiesEnsures that all manufacturing equipment is well maintained to the required standards in accordance with standard operating procedures and preventive maintenance schedules.Performs corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment in the most efficient manner to ensure the shortest possible outage.Carries out and documents all maintenance activities on maintenance record sheets, work permits, log sheets and other relevant documents.Updates spare parts inventory records and source the necessary quotations thereby ensuring that adequate stocks of essential spare parts are in-house at all times.Actively participates in the design, procurement, training, installation, commissioning and qualification of new manufacturing equipment.Prepares and updates standard operating procedures, maintenance record sheets and other relevant documentation.Trains, supervises and accompanies outside contractors’ personnel carrying out maintenance, servicing, installation or calibration works and thereby ensuring that work is carried out according to cGMP, EHS procedures and up to acceptable standards.Participates in in-house and external training sessions to ensure up-to-date knowledge of engineering procedures both in the pharmaceutical industry and in areas relevant to the aforementioned work areas.Participates actively in problem investigation and root cause analysis and ensure that assigned tasks in events, quality CAPA’s and change controls are closed in the agreed timelines.Experience & QualificationAdvanced diploma in Manufacturing or equivalent qualification.Electricity installation, alteration, extension and certification of electrical wirings and fittings (Electrician authorisation - A and B).Experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance.Good communication skills in English.Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.Ability to work in a methodical and organized manner.Must have excellent troubleshooting skills and possess the ability to analyse problems rationally and provide solutions, if necessary, after consultation withimmediate supervisor.Ability to demonstrate excellent people / communication skills.Ability to work unsupervised and on own initiative.PharOS Ltd OffersCompetitive remuneration package (including bonus based on performance)Private medical schemeContinuous trainingFriendly and challenging working environmentRelocation packagePharOS is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
