Then join the BSM family!We’re looking forward to meeting you!Job ObjectiveAs a Marine Superintendent (m/f/d) Offshore, you are responsible for overseeing and ensuring the safety, nautical and commercial operations, as well as environmental and energy policies of the assigned Offshore Vessels. You actively contribute to the fleet's operational efficiency and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide operational and commercial support for Offshore Vessels.Ensure compliance with all environmental, safety, and quality policies.Act as a point of contact for Masters, review voyage orders, and guide the crew.Maintain and manage relationships with owners and charterers.Collaborate with Technical Superintendents to identify and rectify operational discrepancies.Organize and conduct ship inspections, audits, and emergency drills.Ensure adherence to national and international safety and quality standards.Support and advise ship officers in daily operations.Provide technical support for the compatiblity assessment of the Offshore VesselsEnsure compliance with the agreed bunkering procedures as per SGMF guidelinesReview and ensure compliance of the STS and JPBO plansRequirementsBachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Nautical Science, Marine Engineering, or an equivalent qualification (e.g., Senior Officer’s Certificate of Competency).At least 1 years of experience as Senior DPO on an offshore vessel or equivalent.
