Job Description

About the Role The Business Development Manager will act as the representative of the company and brand to be responsible for the strategic direction and business development of ThermTec’s brand within the country. He/she will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with distributors, partners and end users, while customizing and adapting the company’s overall strategy into the local market.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and nurture new business opportunities and business growth points to accomplish profit and volume goals;Shape the strategic direction of the local market to maximize business opportunities and drive sales and profit objectives within the country;Establish and maintain solid and long-term relationships with distributors, partners and end users to increase the market share and product coverage of the company;Presentation of ThermTec brand and products to potential distributors, partners and end users;Carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys within the country and adapt strategies accordingly;Initiate and execute locally-relevant marketing campaigns and growth initiatives, in-line with global brand strategy of the company; being responsible for the performance and results of local marketing campaigns;Attend trade shows, exhibitions, conferences and other marketing events in local country;Consistently monitor the market performance and report progress on a regular basis to highlight opportunities or trends for continuous improvement.QualificationsBachelor's degree or above in business administration, sales management or related field;2+ years experience in a role as business development manager/ sales manager/country manager/ or related roles;A good knowledge base or experience in the outdoor and hunting market, thermal optics market or related field is preferred;Having great enthusiasm in hunting and outdoor activities or being an amateur hunter is preferred;Massive customer resources regarding outdoor and hunting market/thermal optics market in local country is preferred;Excellent communication skills in English and local language, both oral and written; local native speaker is preferred;Entrepreneurial spirit, international mindset and sense of responsibility;Being self-driven and ambitiousAbout ThermTecFounded in 2011, ThermTec is a global leading manufacturer of products concerning infrared thermal imaging technologies, providing the latest and best thermal technologies and solutions that improves the way people perceive the world, such constructs a safer and more efficient living and working condition for humankinds.Please send your CV to Ethan@thermeyetec.com if you are interested in this position.
