The primary role of the Market Development Representative is to follow up with potential customers and some current customers by calling, emailing, networking & partnering with the sales and marketing teams. Reporting to the Director of Marketing Operations you will be part of our Market Development team based in our Costa Rica office.What You’ll Be Doing - the day to dayProspecting: Respond to inbound leads through email, phone calls, and other communication channels to qualify prospects and introduce them to our solutions. Pipeline Development: Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to identify potential customers, nurture relationships, and qualify leads to be passed on to account executives. Lead Qualification: Leverage tools like Salesforce, Gong, and 6sense to assess and qualify leads based on company-defined criteria. Collaboration: Work closely with account executives, demand generation, events, and the wider team to ensure smooth operations and alignment on strategy. Data Tracking & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all interactions in GTM technology and track progress against your goals to optimize your efforts. Continuous Learning: Continuously improve your outreach strategies using resources, data, and technology to enhance your prospecting efforts. Also Learn the sales process and understand the sales cycle from beginning to end. Who You Are - The EssentialsExperience: 3+ years of experience in a similar role, related with lead generation, sales, marketing. Coachability & Strong Work Ethic: An eagerness to learn and grow in a sales role is essential. Must be able to listen and apply feedback and training. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage potential customers and articulate our value proposition (C1 English level is required). Tech Familiarity: Comfortable with CRM and sales tools such as Salesforce, Gong, 6sense, and LinkedIn. Motivated & Goal-Oriented: You thrive in a fast-paced environment, set clear goals, and actively work to achieve them. Team Player: A collaborative mindset, comfortable working alongside account executives and marketing teams to achieve shared goals. Who You Are - The DesirablesExperience: Experience in customer service, sales, or a related field is a plus. Dialing: Public speaking or cold calling experience a plus. Adaptability: You’re comfortable adjusting your approach based on feedback, learning new tools, and refining your strategies to improve performance. Resilience: You don’t get discouraged by rejection and can bounce back quickly, continuously pushing forward to meet and exceed goals. Customer-Centric: A strong desire to understand prospects’ needs and provide them with solutions that will drive value for their business. Relationship-Builder: Ability to establish rapport quickly and maintain strong professional relationships with both internal teams and prospective clients. Ambitious: Looking for growth and development within the company, eager to take on new challenges and expand your skillset.
