Their services include product development, manufacturing, and packaging, ensuring tailored solutions for beauty care markets.Role DescriptionEssential Duties & AccountabilitiesTrend & Market AnalysisMonitor and analyze global trends in cosmetic products, raw materials, packaging innovations, and new fragrance directions.Provide regular insights on industry developments, competitor activities, and consumer preferences.Gap Analysis & Opportunity IdentificationConduct gap analysis for ECC’s portfolio and its clients to identify unmet needs and potential growth areas.Highlight opportunities for new product development, packaging concepts, or fragrance introductions aligned with market demands.Customer Data AnalysisAnalyze clients’ purchase behavior and withdrawal patterns to identify trends, preferences, and growth opportunities.Recommend tailored product offerings to expand client purchases and increase share of business with ECC.Innovation & Prototype SupportCollaborate with R&D, Packaging, and Business Development teams to propose and evaluate innovative product and packaging ideas.Support the creation of concept proposals that align with identified market opportunities.ECC Unlock CatalogueDevelop and update the ECC Unlock Catalogue to showcase the latest ECC launches and innovations to clients.Ensure the catalogue effectively communicates ECC’s competitive edge and value propositions.Business Development ReportingPrepare and submit quarterly reports summarizing Business Development work, market insights, and innovation initiatives.Provide actionable recommendations to management for strategic decision-making.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with Business Development, R&D, Packaging, and Marketing teams to translate insights into business opportunities.Support sales teams with market-driven intelligence to strengthen customer relationships.QualificationsMarket Research expertise, including data collection, analysis, and insight generationInnovation and Product Development experience in cosmetics or related industriesStrong Communication, Presentation, and Collaboration skillsProficiency in Analytical Tools and technologies for data interpretationA deep understanding of cosmetics trends, consumer behavior, and regulatory standardsAbility to manage multiple projects with strong organizational skillsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Chemistry, or a related fieldRelevant experience in the cosmetics industry is highly beneficial
