Now, we’re looking for a Marketing Communications Coordinator to join our growing team.About the RoleAs a Marketing Account Manager, you’ll act as the strategic lead and point of contact for a portfolio of client accounts. From marketing campaigns to digital content to event support, you’ll oversee all marketing deliverables, ensuring each client’s brand shines and business goals are met.This is a client-facing, remote role ideally suited for someone based in the Greater Toronto Area (monthly in-person collaboration required). You’ll work closely with our cross-functional team and report directly to our CEO).JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Account Management + Client StrategyAct as the primary marketing lead for multiple client accountsLead client meetings and strategy sessionsCraft and present high-impact marketing plans that align with client goalsTrack milestones, delegate to internal team, and ensure timely delivery of all projectsEvent & Speaking Engagement SupportMaintain a master calendar of relevant industry events and opportunities for clientsResearch and recommend new trade shows, conferences, and partnershipsCoordinate logistics for speaking engagements, booth builds, event collateral, and shipmentsCraft promotional plans for events and support day-of materials and digital communicationsPitch clients for speaking opportunities that elevate their thought leadershipContent & CommunicationsLead the development of digital content strategies across a wide range of tech industriesManage and maintain detailed marketing content calendarsWrite and edit content including blogs, case studies, newsletters, white papers, and social media copyIdentify and clip standout soundbites from interviews and webinars for future contentEdit short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, LinkedIn snippets, etc.)Collaborate with designers on branding, assets, and campaign visualsOptimize content for SEO across web, blog, and social platformsTrack hours and deliverables using agency toolsWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field4–5+ years of marketing or communications experience (agency experience a strong asset)A confident strategist who can think big-picture while managing day-to-day executionExcellent writing, editing, and storytelling skillsExperience with digital marketing, content strategy, and campaign executionComfortable leading client calls, presenting strategies, and managing timelinesFamiliar with event marketing and logistics (conferences, trade shows, activations)Highly organized, self-motivated, and deadline-orientedBasic video editing skills (for social clips) and familiarity with social platformsStrong collaboration skills and a team-first mindsetBased in or near the Greater Toronto Area with availability during ET business hoursWhy You’ll Love Working at MicDropA fast-paced, values-driven agency with an entrepreneurial spiritMeaningful work with inspiring clients doing innovative thingsRoom to grow, learn, and flex your creative musclesFlexible remote work culture with optional in-person collaborationA high-performing team that’s supportive, driven, and funCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS:Salary: $75,000-$85,000 (competitive and commensurate with experience)Comprehensive benefits package (health, dental + wellness)Paid vacation + four (4) bonus long weekends in the summerOffice closure over the holidays (Dec. 24–Jan. 1)Ongoing training and professional development opportunities—including an annual budget you can put toward courses, conferences, or certificationsOccasional travel opportunities for client events, trade shows, and team retreatsA smart, scrappy, collaborative team that has your backTO APPLY:To apply for the Marketing Account Manager role, please send your resume and a cover letter that WOWS us to: careers@themicdropagency.comNote: Applications submitted only through LinkedIn will not be considered.The deadline to apply is Thursday, November 20, 2025.While we greatly appreciate all applications, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews.
