You will manage marketing for Tooting Works as well as Business Launchpad. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical skills, and a results-driven approach to enhance our brand presence and support business objectives.Responsibilities:Content Creation & Social Media MarketingDevelop visually engaging and consistent content for social media, ensuring alignment with brand tone, style, and messaging.Collaborate with operations and relevant teams to plan the content calendar.Create, schedule, and track posts across platforms; optimise content for reach and engagement using tools such as Canva and Capcut.Capture content at BLP events as needed.Email Marketing & CRMDesign and execute email campaigns via Mailchimp or similar platforms.Segment audiences, track performance, and analyse results to improve future campaigns.Assist with CRM management and support automation or database updates for both BLP and TW.Website AdministrationWork with external agencies to update and maintain websites and landing pages, ensuring a seamless user experience.Support backend management and implement SEO best practices where applicable.Collateral Design & ProductionDevelop promotional materials such as leaflets, posters, and emailers using Canva, Mailchimp, or similar tools.Ensure brand consistency across all channels.Manage production schedules and liaise with design agencies or in-house teams.Digital Marketing & CampaignsSupport online campaigns on platforms such as Meta and Google to build brand awareness and generate leads.Execute and manage third-party marketing promotions for TW partners and BLP clients, ensuring timely execution and alignment with brand objectives. Analytics & Performance TrackingTrack key marketing metrics across campaigns and channels.Analyse performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.Prepare reports with actionable insights and recommendations to support optimisation.Market Research & Local InsightsStay informed on local market trends, audience preferences, and competitor activity.Support refinement of marketing strategies based on insights gathered.Branding & StrategyEnsure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels.Contribute to the development of long-term brand strategy and positioning.Creative Thinking & Problem-SolvingSuggest innovative marketing strategies, campaign ideas, and creative solutions to drive engagement and reach. Person Specification:A degree in marketing, media, or equivalent experience or qualifications will be considered. Must have 2-4 years’ experience in marketing roleHands-on experience with Canva, Mailchimp, website backend systems, and other marketing tools.Experience using digital communication channels, including social media.Experience in the charity or non-profit sector is beneficial but not mandatory.  Skills: Strong creative and aesthetic sensibility to develop visually appealing content and branding materials.Good eye for design and understanding of the local market and audience behaviour to optimise communications with target audience.Ability to multitask, prioritise, and execute marketing initiatives efficiently.Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills, with attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality content.Keen learner with a proactive attitude towards developing new skills and staying informed on best practices in marketing and communications.Ability to work collaboratively within a team and engage with external stakeholders effectively.Candidate may be required to attend early evening events or travel to nearby locations to capture content at important workshops/events. Personal Qualities (Aligned to BLP Values)Growth Mindset – reflective, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement.Community Focused – values the needs and strengths of young people and local communities.Collaborative and Enterprising – proactive and thrives on taking initiative.One Mission, One Team – highly conscientious and reliable, committed to shared success.The duties and responsibilities described are not exhaustive and may change as necessitated by business demands.About Rewards25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata for part-time roles).Personal annual training budget following probation.Employee assistance programme, including counselling.Regular team socials throughout the year.Generous sick pay allowance following probation.General eye test.Well-being day (one day per year).Volunteer day (one day per year).Pre-employment Checks Any employment with Business Launchpad will be subject to the following checks prior to your start date:Satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checkReceipt of two satisfactory referencesProof of eligibility to work in the UK.Please email your CV, with a cover letter stating why you are interested in this role.Please note that this advert will remain open until the vacancy has been filled.
