This role is ideal for a strategic, creative leader with a proven track record in brand management and stakeholder engagement.Our client is an ASX-listed, solutions-driven business specialising engineering and construction activities across sectors such as Defence, Mining, Energy, Marine, Infrastructure and Buildings to name a few.They are currently seeking an experienced Marketing and Communications Manager to lead and oversee all marketing, branding and communication functions across the group of companies. This role will suit a dynamic, forward-thinking professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys driving strategic initiatives that elevate brand awareness and support business growth.The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating marketing and communication strategies that align with corporate objectives. This includes maintaining brand integrity, managing external partnerships, leading a high-performing team (circa 4 to 6 reports), and advising senior executives on marketing and communications best practice.Responsibilities include but not limited to: • Develop, oversee and execute comprehensive marketing and communication campaigns • Act as brand custodian, ensuring consistency and integrity across all communications • Advise senior leadership on strategic marketing and branding direction • Lead, mentor and manage the Marketing and Communications team • Conduct market, client, and competitor research to inform strategic decision-making • Manage budgets, timelines and performance reporting • Maintain and develop key external partnerships and represent the business at key events • Develop internal and external communications strategies and content • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and oversee brand governanceQualifications and Requirements: • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field • 7–10 years’ experience in a similar strategic marketing leadership role • Proven experience managing a brand and communications team • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills • Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation abilities • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects concurrently • Some travel nationally • Experience within the construction or engineering industry is highly desirable This is a permanent full-time position providing a great opportunity to work with a successful and growing organisation who offer challenging work and the potential for career progression.
