Position Title: Ecommerce Content Marketing SpecialistLocation: Remote – Atlanta, GA; Peachtree City, GADuration: 18 monthsStart Date: January 5, 2026Position Overview:The Ecommerce Content Marketing Specialist will support the Retail Marketing Manager with day-to-day ecommerce initiatives and projects. This role focuses on product content development—including marketing copy, keywords, and imagery—to drive sales and enhance online visibility. The ideal candidate is a creative content writer with experience using Canva, light Photoshop, and familiarity with CoPilot or similar tools.Key Responsibilities:Develop engaging and accurate product sales copy that highlights features and drives conversions across retailer websites and marketing channels.Incorporate relevant keywords to optimize content for search and increase organic traffic.Initiate and manage retail photography projects, maintaining internal image databases for new product launches, existing products, and SKU updates.Create and upload lifestyle, in-use, and enhanced content to ecommerce retailer platforms.Maintain organized internal databases for all product content and images.Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate and timely delivery of content to retailer websites.Establish and maintain best practices, processes, and standards for content creation, distribution, and maintenance.Partner with the Marketing Communications team to develop infographics and videos.Assist with retail social media content creation and respond to ratings and reviews as needed.Stay up to date on ecommerce content trends, competitor strategies, and industry developments.Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.2–3 years of experience in content marketing or a related field.Exceptional copywriting, proofreading, and communication skills with keen attention to detail (writing samples required).Experience developing consumer-facing content across various marketing channels (email, SEO, website, social media, product launches, events, etc.).Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills.Working knowledge of Photoshop and/or InDesign.Experience with SEO and keyword integration.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with major retailers such as Lowe’s, Home Depot, Menards, or Amazon.Familiarity with retail syndication systems such as Syndigo or Salsify.Position Success Criteria:Highly detail-oriented and organized.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong presentation abilities and the capacity to deliver clear status updates and content reports.
