We’re on the hunt for an amazing Marketing Coordinator to support our Australian operations - someone who’s equal parts creative, organised and curious, with a special focus for social media.Reporting to the Marketing Manager on a 12 month maternity leave contract, you’ll work across all areas of marketing, from campaign planning and event coordination to content creation and community engagement. A big focus of your role will be bringing our story to life on social, generating ideas, capturing moments, creating content, and turning camp adventures into posts that connect with teachers, parents and students.We’re after a go-getter! Someone who’s eager to learn, loves jumping into new challenges, and can grow quickly across all facets of marketing. If you’re already creating your own social content, enjoy experimenting with trends, and have a passion for storytelling, this is your chance to make a real impact in a brand that inspires the next generation through outdoor education.Key Responsibilities Brainstorm, capture, edit and publish content across social platforms. Work with the Marketing Manager to develop and deliver campaigns that hit agreed targets. Write engaging copy that reflects our tone and connects with teachers, parents and students. Help manage our content calendar, review responses, and engage with followers. Support website updates, and CRM activity. Assist with creative briefs, design projects, event coordination and conference schedules. Track marketing performance and share insights to help the team keep improving. Travel occasionally between GABC sites to film, photograph and capture authentic stories from camp.What We’re Looking For A natural storyteller who loves creating content — photos, videos, or copy. A quick learner who’s proactive, curious, and ready to give new things a go. Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, fun environment and works well both independently and as part of a team. A good communicator with an eye for detail and a creative flair. Bonus points if you can design or edit content (even better if you already film and cut your own videos).Experience & Requirements 2+ years’ experience in marketing, communications or similar. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Business (preferred, but not essential). Hold or be eligible for a NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC).
