THE ROLEYMCA South Australia is seeking a capable and confident Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working on the tools and delivering marketing activity with accuracy, pace and attention to detail. You will contribute to campaigns that support recreation, aquatics, gymnastics and children’s services across more than 60 locations. The role is primarily based in our corporate office with some flexibility to work from home.This position plays an important part in the day-to-day delivery of marketing activity across YMCA South Australia. You will work closely with the Marketing Manager, Graphic Designer, Digital Content Producer and Marketing Specialist to coordinate campaigns, manage digital advertising, update websites and support internal stakeholders.Your onboarding includes a structured three to four month overlap with the Marketing Manager. From May 2025 you will be fully established in the role and will help provide continuity and operational support during the Marketing Manager’s parental leave period. During this time you will assist in maintaining marketing momentum, coordinating team workflows and supporting business units with timely and effective marketing delivery. This is an ongoing role that remains a key part of the marketing team beyond the leave coverage period.Key responsibilities include:Managing and optimising Meta and Google advertising campaigns.Coordinating and executing marketing activity from brief to completion.Drafting and sending EDMs via Mailchimp and CRM platforms.Creating and updating webpages using the CMS with strong web design and user experience principles.Working with internal stakeholders to develop clear and practical campaign plans aligned with YMCA systems and processes.Reviewing and proofing creative and written content including website updates, social media posts and promotional material.Tracking marketing performance, preparing reports and contributing to continuous improvement across all marketing activity.SKILLS & EXPERIENCE   To be successful in this role, you will need: Three to five years of experience in digital marketing or marketing coordinationDemonstrated capability managing Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads campaignsHigh standard of written communication and strong organisational skillsConfidence using digital marketing tools including CMS platforms, email automation tools and social media scheduling softwareNational Police Check (issued in the last 6 months) (or willing to obtain)DHS Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain)International Criminal History Record Check (if worked/lived overseas in the last 5 years) (or willing to obtain)Familiarity with recreation, aquatics or children’s services environments (desirable)Understanding of SEO principles and experience using Google Analytics 4 (desirable)Basic design literacy in Adobe Creative Suite or Canva (desirable)ABOUT THE YYMCA South Australia is a not-for-profit community organisation that has served the South Australian community for more than 170 years.
