Job Title: Marketing & Digital Operations SpecialistReports To: Chief Communications & Marketing OfficerFLSA Classification: ExemptOrganization & Job SummaryThe National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors (NAW), the Washington, DC-based trade association representing the 35,000 company, $8.2 trillion revenue distribution industry, is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and collaborative Marketing & Digital Operations Specialist to join the team.The Marketing & Digital Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring NAW’s digital marketing initiatives are executed with precision, efficiency, and measurable impact. This role is first and foremost about execution, managing projects from start to finish, ensuring deadlines are met, and maintaining attention to detail across all channels.The Specialist oversees NAW’s marketing technology stack (Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Feathr), coordinates digital calendars, website updates, and performance dashboards, and supports social media operations. They also manage advertising fulfillment, making sure partner campaigns are delivered accurately, on time, and reported with transparency.Essential Job ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, each essential job responsibility must be performed satisfactorily. Other responsibilities may be assigned to meet business needs.Digital Operations (Primary Focus)Lead the execution of digital campaigns through Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Feathr, and related platforms.Manage timelines, deliverables, and workflows to ensure projects stay on track.Maintain NAW’s marketing and content calendars for cross-channel alignment.Oversee website updates and social media scheduling, ensuring timely and accurate content delivery.Build dashboards and reports that guide optimization and demonstrate ROI.Advertising Fulfillment (Supporting Focus)Coordinate sponsor and partner advertising placements across email, web, newsletters, and social.Ensure campaigns are scheduled, delivered on time, and monitored for accuracy.Provide post-campaign performance reporting, with clear analysis of reach and engagement.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure creative and messaging align with NAW brand standards.Requirements: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required to successfully perform the job as well as the education and experience requirements.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to follow schedules and prioritize to meet deadlines and manage multiple initiatives simultaneouslyFamiliarity with Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Feathr, or similar platformsProficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management tools and analytics softwareStrong interpersonal skills, exhibiting a positive attitude and a professional demeanorExcellent written and oral communication skillsExceptional customer service skills; a focused listener and problem solverAbility to work with creativity and flexibility in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively with internal and external stakeholdersAbility to create new processes and demonstrate sound judgmentA high degree of personal initiativeEducation and Experience:Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in marketing, communications, digital operations, or related field.1+ years of relevant work or internship experience, requiredPhysical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential job responsibilities. NAW is currently offering a hybrid work model. Employees are required to be in the office Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and upon request for mandatory meetings or events. Employees are provided the opportunity to work remotely on Monday and Friday.
