Job Title: Marketing Director (Korea)A little bit about our team:The Korea Marketing team drives Warner Music's success in one of Asia's most important music markets. We lead the import marketing of international artists into Korea while developing and promoting our domestic Korean roster within the local market. Our team manages marketing activities across all WMG repertoire owners including Atlantic Records, Warner Records, and Elektra, ensuring both global priorities and local artists achieve their potential in Korea.We work closely with APAC's regional teams who provide strategic direction and scaled capabilities: the Artist Strategy team determines repertoire priorities and manages export opportunities for our Korean artists, while the Marketing Services team delivers paid media, content creation, creator partnerships, and platform optimization. This collaborative structure allows us to focus on market-specific execution while benefiting from regional expertise and resources. As Korea continues to influence global music trends, we ensure Warner Music maintains a strong presence in this critical market.Why this could be your next big break:This role offers the opportunity to lead marketing in Korea's sophisticated and influential music market. As Head of Marketing, you'll command the full marketing ecosystem – from platform relationships with Spotify, Apple Music, Melon, and Genie, to creator partnerships with Korea's most influential KOLs and digital creators. You'll oversee how international superstars break through in Korea while building our domestic roster's presence in the local market. With direct ownership of platform pitching, DSP strategies, and influencer campaigns, you'll leverage Korea's unique digital landscape to drive artist success. You'll develop innovative campaigns that resonate with Korean audiences, whether introducing a new Western artist through variety show appearances and YouTube creators, or establishing a domestic signing through strategic platform partnerships and social media movements. This position gives you autonomy to shape marketing strategies in one of the world's most digitally advanced markets, where trends often predict global movements. You'll work directly with artists, managers, and Warner's global network to ensure both international priorities and local talent achieve their full potential.
