Job Description

Job Objective:To lead the marketing and student recruitment efforts at the University of Wollongong in Riyadh, ensuring the achievement of strategic and operational goals, while strengthening the university’s brand in both local and regional markets.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Planning and Organization:Develop a comprehensive annual marketing plan and identify the necessary resources.Design and continuously improve the team’s organizational structure in alignment with current and future university needs.Prepare and manage the marketing budget to ensure an effective return on investment (ROI).Team Leadership and Performance Management:Lead the marketing and student recruitment team to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).Foster a positive culture and provide a motivating and safe work environment.Set a clear vision and provide professional development opportunities for the team.Marketing Campaign Management:Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across various media channels (digital and traditional).Produce promotional materials aligned with the university's brand guidelines.Use digital tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Social Insights) to analyze performance and optimize campaigns.Brand Management and Market Analysis:Monitor and enhance the university’s market image.Conduct market research and competitor analysis to refine strategies.Use both qualitative and quantitative data to support decision-making and improve marketing performance.Stakeholder Relations:Build strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partners.Support university initiatives through effective communication with departments and colleges.Student Recruitment and Applicant Journey Improvement:Lead student recruitment strategies from initial awareness through to enrollment.Collaborate with recruitment teams to provide a high-quality prospective student experience.Organize promotional events such as open days, school visits, and community engagement activities.Qualifications:Educational:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration, or a related field (required).Postgraduate qualification in Marketing or a related discipline (preferred).Experience:Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing or recruitment within the higher education sector.Proven experience in leading teams and achieving marketing or sales targets.Strong experience in digital marketing, including social media, CRM systems, and user experience (UX).Skills:Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus).Strong leadership and analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability.Effective negotiation and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work under pressure and in multicultural environments.
