Makes repairs, preventative maintenance, installs and performs safety testing on all electrical components within the facility. Requires independent effort with limited supervision; establishes course of action and develops methods to obtain results; recommends and/or implements practices, procedures in areas of expertise. Incumbent shall guide and oversee maintenance Zone Mechanics and other trade specific mechanics when they are assigned and performing electric work.QualificationsEducationCompleted apprenticeship program, satisfied licensing requirements for master electrician.(Required)Certification / Licensure / RegistrationLicensed Master Electrician in State of Maryland. License must be kept active and in good standing. (Required)Experience And Skills7 years’ related work experience (Required)Hospital experience (Preferred)Strong Communications Skills, Excellent Interpersonal Skills, ability to maintain proper records and operational data.Physical Requirements And Physical DemandsAdequate hearing to perform job duties in person and over the telephone.
