Material Specialist ( BoM)

About The RoleWe’re seeking an experienced Material Specialist (BoM) to support a mining client with the review, update, and optimisation of Bills of Materials. This role requires strong SAP capability, knowledge of material/ANSI processes, and the ability to work independently across both city-based and site-based operations.Working Monday to Friday in Perth (5/2), with regular rotation to site (4/3), you’ll be responsible for reviewing existing BoMs, adding or removing materials as required, correcting structures, and ensuring alignment with operational and maintenance requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesReview, update, and validate BoMs within SAPAdd and remove materials according to operational needsEnsure data accuracy and consistency across all equipment and material structuresLiaise with planners, maintenance, and supply teams to confirm requirementsSelf-manage workload and deliver project milestonesBenefitsPerth city base with 4/3 site rotation$85–95 per hour + super3-month contractWork closely with maintenance, supply, and master data teamsStrong exposure to BoM optimisation and SAP material managementAbout YouStrong experience reviewing and maintaining BoMs in SAPAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong attention to detail and structured approach to data qualityMust have the right to work in AustraliaAbout UsMaintenance Systems Solutions Pty Ltd is a privately owned Australian company with offices throughout Australia and internationally.
