Job Description

Responsibilities1. Planning System Management & Optimization:Responsible for capacity planning and evaluation, identifying capacity bottlenecks, and providing data-driven support for management decisions. Establish and continuously optimize the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, collaborating with Sales, Production, Procurement, and other departments to balance demand and supply capabilities.2. Production Planning & Scheduling:Lead the formulation, review, and release of production schedules, ensuring their executability and alignment with customer delivery requirements. Monitor the execution progress of production plans and coordinate with production departments to resolve issues impacting plan attainment.3. Material Planning & Inventory Control:Oversee the generation and release of Material Requirements Planning (MRP), ensuring the timely and coordinated supply of raw materials, auxiliary materials, and packaging materials. Develop and monitor inventory strategies, optimize inventory structure, and continuously reduce raw material and work-in-process (WIP) inventory levels while ensuring production continuity, thereby improving the inventory turnover ratio.4. Delivery Management & Customer Communication:Assume overall responsibility for the review, confirmation, and delivery commitment of customer orders, ensuring their on-time execution. Serve as the primary point of contact for order delivery status, promptly responding to inquiries from customers and the internal sales team regarding order lead times.5. Warehouse & Logistics Management:Oversee the daily operational management of raw material, semi-finished, and finished goods warehouses, ensuring consistency between system records, physical stock, and inventory cards. Drive the standardization and efficiency improvement of warehouse management, including warehouse layout optimization, strict FIFO (First-In, First-Out) implementation, and enhanced inventory accuracy. Manage and evaluate the performance of third-party logistics (3PL) providers, optimize logistics solutions, and control logistics costs.6. Systems & Team Development:Lead or participate in the optimization and enhancement of the Planning, Materials, and Warehouse modules within the ERP system, ensuring data accuracy. Responsible for departmental team building, training, motivation, and performance appraisal, fostering a highly efficient and professional planning and logistics team.QualificationsBachelor's degree or higher in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Manufacturing, or a related field.Minimum of 8 years of planning management experience in manufacturing, including at least 3 years in a Planning Manager or equivalent managerial role within the automotive components industry. Must possess comprehensive management experience spanning planning, materials, warehousing, and logistics.Proficient in end-to-end supply chain management knowledge and skilled in theories and tools such as S&OP, MPS, MRP, Inventory Control, and Lean Logistics.Excellent cross-departmental communication, coordination, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to effectively drive plan execution.Proficiency in English/French as a working language is required.
