Payment Operations Specialist

ResponsibilitiesPartner Communications: Maintain and enhance relationships with payment partners. Act as the primary point of contact for all payment-related inquiries and issues. Coordinate and facilitate regular meetings and communications with partners to ensure alignment and resolve any discrepancies. Streamline Payment Processes Oversee daily payment operations, including processing payments, reconciliations, and managing payment gateways. Develop and implement efficient payment processing workflows to reduce errors and increase transaction speed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure payment processes are integrated and optimized within the overall business operations. Improve Metrics Monitor and analyze payment metrics to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.

Prepare and present regular reports on payment performance, including transaction volumes, error rates, and processing times. Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of payment operations and drive continuous improvement. Optimize Processes Identify opportunities for process automation and implement solutions to streamline payment operations. Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement system enhancements and upgrades that support efficient payment processing. Customer Experience Ensure a seamless and positive payment experience for customers by promptly addressing payment-related issues and inquiries. Continuously evaluate and improve the customer payment journey to enhance overall user experience.

RequirementsExperience in payment operations within the e-commerce sector with merchants with global reach. Strong understanding of global payment processing, alternative payment methods, risk management, and compliance. Prior experience being involved with a development team, with a focus on payments or fintech applications. Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Familiarity with global payment trends, emerging technologies, and alternative payment methods.
