Solar Energy Project Manager Essential FunctionsResponsible for the development of public, educational, commercial, industrial, and other types of solar projectsResponsible for due diligence activities including site origination, site control, project permitting, utility interconnectionDevelopment of long-term relationships with site owners, energy users and other project stakeholdersEffective communication with project stakeholders and community members to facilitate project permitting and other initiativesActive management of development schedule and budget to ensure timely and cost-effective projectsFostering support from state, county and local governments, community groups, and abuttersSupport of internal finance, engineering, and construction teams to facilitate successful project financing and constructionParticipates in long-term strategic planning and project execution plans.

Development of sales presentations, proposals, and other materials as needed to support project development effortsOther duties as assignedSolar Energy Project Manager education, experience, technical skills & attributes required: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 1 year of experience working in the energy industryExceptional oral and written communication skillsProficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and HelioscopeAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
