You will aid Greek office leaders in delivering the client activation mission, supporting the overall client activation strategy and related priority proposal opportunities.
You will collaborate with the office leadership and local key practice leaders and client-service team (with a focus on global energy and materials (GEM), Travel, Logistics, and Infrastructure (TLI), Social, Healthcare, and Public Entities (SHAPE), and Banking), as well as the rest of the local and European proposal team. You will collaborate with consultants leading priority proposals. Day-to-day, your team will consist of a network of client activation colleagues, including the proposal team, knowledge professionals, internal firm functions such as legal, risk, and finance teams, and consultants with different levels of seniority and varying topical expertise.
Alongside your alignment to the office needs, you will be part of McKinseyâs Proposal Services path, a global community focused on growing our existing and new client relationships by enabling efficient and effective delivery of proposals. You will collaborate with other colleagues (e. g. , client development advisors, proposal strategists, designers, competitive insights specialists, etc. ) to shape our thinking on proposal best practices and drive continuous improvement. In this role, you will support teams within the office and practices to co-create elements of distinctive proposals and associated supporting materials. Specifically, you will:
Coordinate the proposal document and process for State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) (~60%), public sector (~30%), and private clients (~10%) in collaboration with local office functions and by leveraging best practices from the European proposal team.
You will create timely and high-quality administrative proposal content, gather feedback, and manage the cadence of iterations and reviews with the Client Service Teams (CSTs)Embed yourself in consultant and proposal teams via an agile operating model to learn client context and create administrative/legal documents and materials aligned with tender requirementsPrepare templates, compliance matrices, statements, and other administrative elements during the proposal development process based on client submission requirementsSupport contract drafting/negotiation, signatures, and collection and preparation of administrative documents required for proposals.
This includes archiving contracts, tender-related documentation, and other administrative tasks such as managing the supplier qualification process.
