No sponsorship offered for this position ** No relocation benefits for this position **Note: We are working hybrid with at least 2 days per week in the office (Temecula, CA). During onboarding you will likely need to be 3-4 days per week. The QA Automation Engineer is responsible for building and maintaining our automated tests, building test scenarios, and integrating those scenarios with our CI/CD pipeline for new and existing products based on product and business requirements.

Specific tasks include working with development, QA, and support to build test scenarios used by our wide variety of clients, then use these scenarios to create and update automated tests in C# and Cypress . These automated tests will help with both new functionality and regression for existing functionality. We have a large number of clients in varying sizes and approaches, so there are no shortage of automate-able test cases.

ResponsibilitiesCreate, validate, and update end-to-end tests via CypressBuild automations to automatically run and validate end-to-end testsCreate, validate, and update existing C# integration testsBuild test scenarios and test data in our QA database for new and existing testsWrite applications and scripts to automate repeated tasks and build test coverage through existing or new infrastructureLead/collaborate on improving developer and engineering team's test coverage, release velocity and production healthCollaborate with the development, support, and product management to ensure features work according to specifications and customer expectationsRequirementsRelevant work experience, including test automation experienceExperience with PowerShell or Bash for automating builds and test suitesExperience with C# (or related language)Experience with Cypress (or related UI/scripting library)Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL, or other relational databaseBS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent work experienceBonus ExperienceExperience creating effective test plansExperience testing web applications, both front and back-end, including testing ASP.
