Mechanical Design Engineer – Western CapeAn exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join an international product development environment while working from the Western Cape.You’ll be involved in designing advanced propulsion and motion systems used in major industrial applications.What you’ll do:• Design mechanical components, assemblies, and system layouts• Perform engineering analyses and 3D modelling• Collaborate with global engineering teams• Improve existing products and support new development• Present technical insights and documentationRequirements:• BEng/BSc/MEng in Mechanical or Marine Engineering• Experience in mechanical product development (or strong potential to grow)• 3D CAD proficiency (Siemens NX or similar)• Strong grasp of materials, manufacturing & mechanical principles• Analytical, proactive mindset• Maritime/heavy-industrial exposure is a plusIf you're ready to grow in a high-tech, global environment, we’d love to hear from you.Send your CV to megan@sydsen.com
