Mechanical Designer

Teoresi Inc is an international Group, with offices in Europe and the United States, that acts as an engineering partner to customers' product and process development.We are always looking for new talents and highly specialized professionals, more specifically for:Mechanical Designer – Railway SectorTo support the design and development of mechanical components and systems for railway applications. The role focuses on 2D/3D modeling, mechanical design validation, and collaboration with cross-disciplinary engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.Key responsibilities for the position:Develop detailed 3D mechanical designs using CATIA for railway systems and componentsCreate and manage technical documentation, including drawings and design reportsExperience with PLM systems, such as ENOVIA/DMA, for managing design dataSupport the engineering team in design validation, prototyping, and integration phasesEnsure compliance with railway industry standards and customer technical specificationsCoordinate with electrical, systems, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless product integrationFamiliarity with digital mock-up (DMU) processes and interface managementParticipate in design reviews and provide input to improve product functionality and manufacturabilityRequired Skills:Proficiency in CATIA for mechanical designExperience in PLM systems, such as ENOVIA/DMASolid understanding of mechanical components used in railway applicationsFamiliarity with materials, tolerances, and manufacturing processes specific to the railway industryStrong problem-solving attitude, organizational skills, and attention to detailAbility to work both independently and in cross-functional teamsProfile Completes:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field2–5 years of experience in mechanical design roles, preferably in the railway sectorKnowledge of railway regulations and standards (e.g., EN 15085, EN 12663, UIC codes)Experience with additional CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, or CATIA) is a plusLocation: Montreal, QuebecType of employment: Full-timeSend your application if you are interested in learning more about potential opportunities and projects.Benefits offered by Teoresi, Inc.Teoresi, Inc. provides the following company insurance policies: Health, Vision, Dental, Life, Long Term Disability (LTD), and Short Term Disability (STD).
