Then we have what you are looking for!Position: Mechanical Engineer – Water and Waste WaterEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical EngineeringExperience: Minimum 10 - 12 years in Design of Pumping Stations, Piping, steel tanks, Pipeline etc. Preferred with UAE Consultancy ExperienceLocation: EgyptRoles and Responsibilities:The candidates should have experience in the following;Experience in Water / Wastewater design projectsDetailed design works for Potable Water pump stations, Irrigation, Sewage and Storm water pumping stations and piping systems.Experience in STP, RO Desalination plants and Hypochlorination systems, tanker filling stations, fire pump stations, surge vessels, compressed air systems etcDevelop plot piping layouts for underground and above ground piping, detailed piping general arrangement drawings, sections, pipe support details, piping schematics, piping isometrics, MTOs, Valve chamber, cost estimate etc.Experience in design of various types of piping materials – Carbon Steel, Ductile Iron, HDPE, GRE etc and well conversant with various types of valves ,selection criteria, application ,materials etc.Carry out pipe wall thickness calculation, Tank sizing, Wet Well sizing, NPSH calculation, pressure drop calculations, pump head calculationsExperience in Piping Stress Analysis,Preparation of Design basis, Design reports, Piping Material SpecificationsReview shop drawings, design calculations, review supplier drawings and material submittalsPrepare and issue specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.Provide technical guidance to CAD Designers, BIM Modellers, and EngineersReview and resolve technical queries and manage changes related to designEnsure coordination of Mechanical systems with other project components and disciplinesExperience in industrial HVAC, Water Supply, Firefighting systems ,Drainage system will be added advantageExperience in engineering specifications, design validation and design review works.Skills:Lead mechanical Design projects.Good knowledge of local and international design standards and codes like ASME/API/BS/DIN etc.Shall be well aware of safety and environments aspects in design.Working within the budget to deliver on time.Liaising with internal and external stakeholders.To apply, please submit your CV in English through the system, containing as a minimum your contact details, education level, relevant experience and earliest possible start date.Any applicant must be aware that the selection of candidates is at the sole discretion of the employer.
