About the Role We’re looking for a full-time Mechanical Engineer to join our Cebu team. Reporting to Cavalry’s Australian engineering lead, you’ll play a key role in the design of oil and gas delivery and processing systems and participate in the development of industry leading design automation systems. This is a full-time role as a mechanical engineer working in our Cebu team. In this role, you’ll work alongside mechanical and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver meaningful solutions to clients. You’ll also have the opportunity to grow your professional network, sharpen your technical expertise, and make a real impact on complex, rewarding projects. Key Responsibilities Mechanical Design and Development: Develop mechanical engineering designs for new and existing gathering systems. Drawings and Deliverable Preparation: Develop mechanical and other discipline deliverables and participate in the design review, QA and publishing process. Project Involvement: Support projects from concept through to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Collaboration: Work closely with sales, manufacturing, and our international design team to ensure customer requirements are met and designs are production ready. Qualifications Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering and local professional engineering registration Expert knowledge of CAD applications (AutoCAD or similar) Experience developing and managing material catalogues Proven mid-level experience in a similar mechanical engineering role Strong grasp of industry standards, codes, and safety regulations Ability to prepare technical documentation, reports, and design calculations. Excellent attention to detail and communication skills (both written and verbal) Comfortable with the MS Office Suite A true team player who brings energy, ideas, and support to every collaboration Highly Desirable Experience with Autodesk and Hexagon (3D/2D) design tools C#/ Python scripting for automation or analysis Keen to learn more?
