Job DescriptionJob title: MECHANICAL ENGINEERLocation: Cairo, EgyptJob reference #: 32133Contract type: PermanentLanguage requirements: English (intermediate level)At Eni, we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer within EniProgetti Egypt Ltd. in Cairo. You will be responsible for bringing critical expertise in static equipment to strengthen our Mechanical Department. As part of this role, you will ensure in-house capability for activities currently managed through external contractors, contributing to the growth and autonomy of the department. Your work will support the Department Leader and senior specialists in delivering high-quality engineering solutions and expanding the team’s technical capacity.Main Responsibilities Coordinate and ensure proper execution and reporting of projects. Prepare, verify and issue mechanical documents (static and machinery) across various engineering phases. Adhere to all national Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) laws and strictly follow the company’s corporate HSE policy and safety system. Ensure a safe and healthy workplace for all subordinates and verify their compliance with established safety and labour protection rules and regulations. Skills And Experience Required University degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Power. Relevant professional experience. Good knowledge of the following software: PV ELITE: Experience in performing vessel design, thickness calculations, and nozzle analysis. TANK: Experience in designing tanks and attachments according to API 650 standards. HAP: Ability to complete design and selection of HVAC systems. AutoCAD: Familiarity with selection and usage for mechanical design tasks. Design experience and management of Oil and Gas projects related to static equipment. Ability to work across different activities within mechanical design projects. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across departments and projects.
