Mechanical Engineer

Roles & ResponsibilitiesSupervise, coordinate, and execute Mechanical works including Plumbing, Drainage, HVAC, Firefighting, and LPG systems.Review and interpret design drawings, specifications, and technical submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements and authority regulations.Prepare material requests, monitor deliveries, and ensure proper resource allocation (manpower, materials, equipment).Conduct site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and progress as per project plan.Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, and other trades to resolve site issues and ensure smooth workflow.Assist in testing, commissioning, and final handover of MEP systems, ensuring snag-free completion.Prepare daily/weekly progress reports, method statements, and inspection requests (IRs).Ensure all works comply with HSE standards and company quality procedures.Support in preparation of as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and project close-out documents.Desired Candidate ProfileBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.3–5 years of experience in MEP contracting (UAE/GCC experience preferred).Strong knowledge of Mechanical systems (Plumbing, HVAC, Firefighting, LPG).Familiar with UAE authority approval procedures (Civil Defense, Municipality, FEWA, etc.).Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.Excellent communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple site tasks independently.UAE Driving License preferred.Salary Budget6000 AED (As per Experience)
