Our product range includes globally respected brands such as Ritz, Allweiler, Grundfos, IMO, and Graco.Position Overview:We are seeking a qualified and hands-on Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in both design and practical environments — someone who can lead technical projects, support workshop operations, and provide expert guidance on pump systems and mechanical installations. You will be instrumental in delivering end-to-end engineering solutions, while also mentoring service technicians and ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and performance.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop mechanical systems and pump configurations for commercial and industrial applications.Prepare and review technical documentation including CAD drawings, specifications, and commissioning procedures.Oversee the assembly, installation, and commissioning of pump systems in both workshop and on-site environments.Conduct performance analysis, diagnostics, and failure investigations to improve system reliability and efficiency.Develop and implement maintenance schedules, inspection protocols, and quality assurance procedures.Provide technical leadership and support to service technicians during pump build-ups, refurbishments, and repairs.Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.Select appropriate materials, coatings, and components for custom builds and refurbishments based on application-specific requirements.Ensure compliance with engineering standards, WHS regulations, and company policies.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (required).Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in pump systems, fluid mechanics, or rotating equipment.Benefits:Flexible working hoursOvertime opportunitiesOn the job training & developmentUniforms and company car provided after probation periodFriendly & supportive team environmentAbout us:Pump Power Australia have operated for over 35 years with a dedicated staff & low turnover.
