About Your New EmployerYour new employer is a leading family-run mechanical contractor based in Dublin. Specialising in the supply and installation of mechanical services to a variety of sectors, including retail, commercial, industrial, education, healthcare and fitout. The company has ongoing projects across Dublin, Cork, and Westmeath and is hoping to expand their team with a mechanical estimator.About Your New JobAs a Mechanical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for mechanical engineering projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure that all estimates are comprehensive and align with project requirements. Your job duties will include:Analyzing project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates.Collaborating with project managers and engineers to understand project scope and requirements.Preparing and presenting cost estimates to clients and stakeholders.Reviewing and updating estimates as project details evolve.Identifying and evaluating potential cost-saving opportunities.Maintaining accurate records of all estimates and related documentation.What Skills & Requirements You NeedA degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Extensive experience in estimating for mechanical engineering projects, preferably within the data centre or building services sector.Strong analytical and numerical skills.Excellent communication and organizational abilities.Proficiency in estimating software and tools.What’s on OfferCompetitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for career development and further training.A supportive and collaborative working environment.Involvement in high-profile and diverse projects across the Leinster region.What’s NextIf you are an experienced Mechanical Estimator with a passion for excellence and looking to advance your career with a reputable M&E contractor with an impressive portfolio of work for the next two years, we would love to hear from you!
