This role is ideal for anexperienced project engineerwho wants to expand their leadership responsibilities and move along a clear career path towardProject Management.As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will be an integral part of the construction management team-supporting, coordinating, and tracking all phases of complex design-build projects. You will be responsible for ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project objectives, cost parameters, and quality standards.Key Responsibilities Support and coordinate all phases of construction projects from concept through completion alongside the Mechanical PM. Track and manageproject costs,change orders, andbillingto ensure financial alignment. Collaborate closely withProject Managers,Superintendents,QC, andSafety personnel. Assist withsubmittals,RFIs,takeoffs, andas-built documentation. Review and interpretconstruction drawings, FRP, and subcontractor scopes of work. Supportjob costingefforts and verify subcontractor billings and progress reports. Maintain organized and accurateproject documentationin accordance with company standards. Communicate effectively across all levels of the project team, including clients, subcontractors, and field staff. Identify opportunities for process improvement and actively contribute to project planning and scheduling.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered. 5+ years of experiencein construction project engineering or related roles, preferably inmechanical trades. Strong understanding ofconstruction trade practices, especiallymechanical systems(HVAC, piping, or plumbing).
