Mechanical Project ManagerSalary Range: CA$110,000.00-CA$140,000.00 per annum. Working Hours: Permanent, full-time hours. OpportunityWe are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our growing team. In this role you will work on the design, scope, and building a variety of rewarding projects.We deliver a wide range of projects from small washroom upgrades to complex healthcare heating/cooling systems and medical gas systems. This unique opportunity is perfect for candidates seeking a variety of mechanical exposure across multiple industry types while contributing to high-quality, technically driven work.While our office is located in Burnaby, travel to job sites across the Lower Mainland will be required. ResponsibilitiesAttend project handover meetings with the estimating team.Read, interpret and understand project scopes and responsibilities.Setup projects in our internal project management system(s).Effectively track multiple project documentation workflows across an array of projects to ensure deliverables are met.Ensure all project stakeholders have correct, up-to-date information throughout a projects lifespan.Effectively manage and maintain all written and verbal project communicationsMaintain client satisfaction and promptly resolve any concernsWork with the Project Management team to develop and manage schedules, resources plan, procurement, project commissioning and risk mitigation strategies, while controlling costs and maximizing productivity through the implementation of best practices and standard processesPerform other tasks as required What you will bring:We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds and experience levels who demonstrate the following attributes:Self StarterReliableCustomer service orientatedPunctualDrivenResponsibleDedicatedLoyalAccountableCompetencies Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills.Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and project software.Able to work independently, manage time effectively, and work with multiple deadline.Experience in Procore project management software is an asset.Mechanical and/or plumbing experience is a strong asset for this role.At least 2 of the following:Minimum 5 years experience as a Journeyman/Journeywoman PlumberMinimum 5 years experience in the Construction IndustryPost-secondary education from a mechanical programMinimum 4 years previous project coordination / management experiencePMP Certification or MBAP.
