Ready to shape the future of mobility with us?YOUR ROLEIn your daily job you will:Support the mechanical simulation team in performing numerical analyses using the Finite Element Method (FEM)Prepare 3D geometry models for simulation using CAD softwareCreate reports and discuss results with the product engineering teamActively participate in the development of mechanical simulation methodologiesYOUR BACKGROUNDKey skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:Student status (preferable in: mechanics, automation and robotics or similar)Availability minimum 20 hours per weekSolid understanding of the mechanical properties of materialsKnowledge of computational methods for static and dynamic behavior analysisProficiency in CAD software (e.g., Siemens NX, SolidWorks, AutoCAD)Experience with FEA packages (e.g., Simulia Abaqus, Ansys Mechanical)WHY JOIN US?You can grow at Aptiv.
