We have the job for you.What does the job look like:Installation, set up, maintenance and support of automated equipment ensuring optimum performance and achieving operational goals. This will include providing factory systems support in a highly automated production environment while also Implementing continuous improvement solutions to maximize equipment efficiency and robustness.Note: Shift work will be required as part of this role.Responsibilities:Repairing and troubleshooting high speed automated assembly machinesScheduling and performing preventative maintenance proceduresHelping to move, install, set-up and refurbish equipmentMaintaining accurate and up-to-date maintenance documentationCommunicating potential problems that may affect capacity and quality to the business unit Team Leader as well as across zones/work areas where necessarySupporting Process Engineers to ensure continuous improvements are ongoingContributing to efficiency improvement projects through code upgradesMeeting performance targets and production deadlinesWorking proactively on your own initiative with minimal supervisionQualifications/Background:Minimum Level 5 qualification within an engineering discipline or trade equivalent in electronics/mechanics2+ years of experience as a technician in a high-volume automated environmentExperience in Medical Devices or suppliers is preferableKnowledge of Allen Bradley PLC devices is an advantageKnowledge of electrical systems
