We’re looking for people who are determined to make life better for people around the world.ResponsibilitiesThe key responsibility you will take on in this role will be leading medical/scientific expertise for the therapeutic area working closely with other teams and maintaining appropriate collaborations and relationships with external scientific experts, thought leaders, and other stakeholders.Your Day-to-day Tasks Will IncludeBuild and maintain the required medical/scientific expertise and keep medical knowledge on the therapeutic area updatedKeep updated with medical and scientific developments in the relevant therapeutic areasUnderstand and keep updated with the preclinical and clinical data of the product & the competitorsCritically read and evaluate the relevant medical literature, attend and contribute to medical congresses and scientific symposiaSupport development of promotional material by participating in concept generation and available for consultationReview and approve promotional material and educational presentationsPreparing and delivering product knowledge training for the medical representatives Provide medical training of other employees (clinical study team, medical, non-medical)Address unsolicited scientific questions of HCPs (in cooperation with MedInfo), and support MedInfo with scientific advice and reviewing customized repliesPrepare or review scientific information in response to customer questions and media requestsEstablish and maintain effective professional relationships with external experts, professional associations, and the general medical communityParticipate in Strategic planning, development of medical brand strategiesContribute to activities and deliverables of the PRA organizationSupport the planning of symposia, advisory board meetings, and other meetings with health care professionalSupport Regulatory and PhV with medical expertiseReview and approve local regulatory labeling and label changes, screening literature for potential AEs, and involvement in risk management Participate in Clinical Planning, providing strategic inputs on therapeutic needs and gaps from the local market, reviewing and approving local informed consent documentsCollaborate with Clinical Research staff in the design, conduct, and reportingKnowledge of and compliance with local laws and regulations, and global policies and procedures, compliance guidelines Support budget administration with planning & tracking costsQualifications & SkillsUniversity degree in Medicine (MD Degree)Relevant work experience in the pharmaceutical industry, in a medical or marketing roleProficient in business Slovenian and EnglishExcellent communication skills with the ability to prioritizeInterpersonal, organizational and negotiation skillsAbility to influence others (both cross-functionally and within the function) Excellent teamwork skillsStrong Preference Will Be Given To Candidates WithClinical experience in Diabetes & ObesityPharmaceutical or research work experience with diabetes productsExperience in a dynamic, innovative pharmaceutical companyOther InformationThe role is based in Lilly Slovenia.
