Role : Medical SpecialistRole OverviewMercor is seeking experienced General Practitioners (GPs) to collaborate with a global healthcare technology leader dedicated to advancing evidence-based medicine through innovative AI solutions. In this role, you will leverage your clinical expertise to assess and refine AI-generated medical content, ensuring its clinical accuracy, safety, and alignment with current standards of care.This is a remote, non-clinical, hourly contract position (no direct patient care) offering the opportunity to influence the future of digital health tools that empower clinicians and patients worldwide.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate AI-generated medical responses to clinical scenarios and patient inquiries.Apply sound clinical reasoning to identify inaccuracies, safety concerns, or informational gaps.Ensure compliance with current evidence-based guidelines and primary care best practices.Provide precise, constructive feedback to enhance model accuracy and reliability.Uphold professional and ethical standards, including confidentiality and medical integrity.QualificationsMedical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent).Active, unrestricted medical license in New Zealand.Minimum 5 years of post-residency clinical practice experience.Strong expertise in general medicine, chronic disease management, and preventive care.Familiarity with obesity medicine, integrative medicine, or complementary health practices is advantageous.Excellent analytical, written, and communication skills with strong attention to detail.CompensationContract Type: HourlyRate: $160–$185 per hourWork Setup: Fully Remote
