Job Highlights:Contract type: Independent ContractorNight Shift Schedule: Monday to Thursday - 8:45am to 5pm New York Time (8:45pm - 5:00am Manila Time)Friday - 8:45am to 3:45pm New York Time (8:45pm - 3:45am Manila Time)Job DescriptionYou will be assisting the team member in completing code setups and review to ensure that all codes were set up appropriately in accordance with payor guidelines.Job Responsibilities:Read and discern extensive payor guidelines by state to incorporate in code setupSetup relevant billing codes in several types of systems according to payor guidelinesSetup Medically Unlikely Edits (MUEs) per code, carrier and procedure codeReview billing codes to ensure there are no errorsReview billing codes to ensure adherence to payor guidelinesOther duties as assignedJob Requirements:2-year college degree2-year experience in US-based medical billing practice or 2-year experience in a medical practice dealing with billing including but not limited to, provider credentialing, auth, reimbursement, etc. preferably in Behavioral Health to some degreeMust have backup power supply (extra laptop/power bank/generator/UPS)Job Qualifications:Detail orientated with above-average organizational skillAble to plan and prioritize to meet deadlinesExcellent verbal and written communicationCommunicates clearly and effectivelyExcellent reading comprehensionExcellent computer skills, including Microsoft programs such as Excel, WordThorough understanding of navigating the internetCore Values:We hire, fire and promote based on these core values + job-specific performance.1.
