By efficiently and effectively doing so, you will help improve clinical outcomes and reduce patient wait times. In addition, you would ensure that the patient has an excellent service experience.Position Details: This position is at Yonkers & Foxhurst clinicsMust be able to work within the hours of 7am-730 and weekends as neededThe candidate must speak English and Spanish fluentlyCompensation: $20-$22/hrKey Responsibilities: Assist in the smooth operation of a Healthcare practice and accompany the physician into the patient examination room in order to transcribe/translate a history and physical exam, and accurately document the physician's encounter with the patient and others presentList all proper diagnoses and symptoms as well as follow up instructions and prescriptions as dictated by the physicianTranscribe patient orders including laboratory tests, radiology tests, medications, etcDocument any procedures performed by the physicianMaintain professional appearance and conduct at all timesAdhere to employer work practicesEstablish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, staff and managementsEffectively cope with typical job stressDocument work processes as requiredPerform other duties as assignedThis position will be cross-trained to handle receptionist duties as neededRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent, required 6-months experience as a Medical Scribe or experience or equivalent education and experience, required Individual seeking to continue higher education in medical school or other healthcare profession, preferred Optional: Seeking to continue higher education in medical school or other healthcare professionSpanish and English required BenefitsHealth Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)Retirement Plan (401k)Paid Time Off (Vacation/Sick Days)Paid Training (2-4 Weeks)
