Medior Network Operations Engineer with German language

CGI works with clients through a local relationship model complemented by a global delivery network that helps clients digitally transform their organizations and accelerate results.Currently, we are planning to extend our Budapest branch and therefore we are seeking skilled and motivated Medior Network Operations Engineers with German language proficiency to join our dynamic IT infrastructure team. This role is essential to maintaining and enhancing the stability, security, and performance of our network systems. You will be responsible for incident and problem management, proactive monitoring, and continuous improvement of our LAN/WLAN environments.Your future duties and responsibilitiesYour future duties and responsibilities Perform incident and problem management, including root cause analysis. Monitor infrastructure components using Icinga and other tools. Design and document highly available LAN/WLAN environments. Administer and optimize network topologies and security measures (e.g., port security, TLS/SSL, IPSec). Plan and execute regular firmware and patch rollouts. Maintain operational documentation and contribute to knowledge bases. Support internal teams and customers with infrastructure-related issues. Operate firewalls and load balancer systems to ensure secure and efficient network segmentation. Collaborate with vendors, customers, and cross-functional teams.
