Reporting to the Head of Visitor Economy, this role is crucial in driving economic growth and strategically influencing sector development within the city.
As a seasoned professional in the business events industry, you will understand the critical importance of advocacy and partnership. You will be well-versed in the intricate requirements of researching and bidding for conferences, recognising the vital role this sector plays in a destination's success. You will thrive on the opportunity to finalise and implement the new Business Events strategy, with all research and recommendations already completed. We are looking for the right individual to bring this strategy to life and make a significant impact on Christchurch's future.
