This role requires a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to creating memorable experiences for clients and attendees.Key Responsibilities:Event Planning and CoordinationTo collaborate with clients at enquiry stage to understand their event objectives, budgets, and specific requirements.To prepare detailed bespoke proposals in line with the clients objectives.To conduct timely follow up on proposals to clarify details, address any questions, negotiate when appropriate and demonstrate professionalism and an appetite to convert the business.To conduct regular site inspections including pre-inspection preparation, identifying key focus areas and conducting a post inspection follow up.Provide detailed event information to the operations team including event briefing meetings, updates and post event debriefs.Post-Event TasksConduct post-event evaluations, gather feedback from clients and attendees, and identify areas for improvement.Settle any outstanding payments and reconcile refunds, deposits etc.Conduct a team debrief to discuss what went well and areas for improvement.Maintain positive relationships with clients and suppliers for future opportunities.When appropriate, identify prospective clients from databases, previous events etc and target for potential business.Skills And Competencies:Exceptional organisational and project management skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficient in event management software such as Cvent, Opera and CRM tools.Basic proficiency in Canva, Photoshop, or other design software for creating event materials.Good commercial understanding to assist in achieving financial targets.Creativity and problem-solving abilities for unexpected challenges.Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively under pressure.Experience2 years experiencein a similar role or industry.Working ConditionsOffice based role.Hours are 09:00-17:30, Monday to Friday.
