Balearic is a global brand with a magical community for those within it, offering an exclusive yet welcoming experience.Role OverviewAs our Membership & Culture Assistant, you’ll be the heartbeat of Balearic, creating exceptional experiences for our members while driving the growth of our special community. You’ll help execute our membership strategy with care and intention, ensuring every interaction feels genuine, personal, and unforgettable.Your focus will be on attracting and welcoming new members who align with our ethos of kind, fun, and interesting people, while ensuring our existing community continues to feel valued and inspired. You’ll work closely with our Founder and Head of Experience to deliver the very best for our members, from beautifully curated events to moments that bring people together and make them feel at home.You’ll be based at our beautiful Fulham office, a bright, inspiring space that feels more like a creative hub than a workplace. Flexibility is key; some evenings and weekends will be spent out in the world at our members’ events and experiences across London.Alongside an incredible work environment, you’ll enjoy restaurant credit, a gym membership, and access to a space that reflects everything we stand for, community, culture, and good energy.What You’ll DoAssist with the membership journey, from acquisition and onboarding to retention and engagement, ensuring a seamless and inspiring experience.Develop and execute creative strategies to grow our membership base with quality individuals who reflect the Balearic spirit.Build relationships with potential members through events, local activations, parties, music events and personal outreach, introducing them to the world of Balearic.Attend and help host all member events, bringing warmth, energy, and attention to detail to every occasion.Support the Head of Experience with the planning and execution of events, from wellness breakfasts and supper clubs to our signature Hedonist House Party.Represent Balearic at parties, music events, and cultural gatherings, expanding the network and presence of our members’ club.Be a true brand ambassador, embodying the Balearic ethos and ensuring every experience reflects our values and personality.Support artist liaison, Cab sessions, and event collaborations to ensure everything runs seamlessly and feels distinctly Balearic.Always put people and experience at the heart of what you do, creating moments that feel effortless, welcoming, and memorable.Who You AreYou’re a natural connector, the kind of person who lights up a room and makes everyone feel at ease. This person has to have a strong network and be very well connected!QualificationsFirst and foremost, it’s all about personality, warmth, character, and a genuine love for people.Experience in membership management and customer service, with a natural ability to build lasting relationships.Strong event planning skills, you know how to create experiences that feel effortless, engaging, and unmistakably Balearic.A curious and analytical mindset, using insights and data to continuously elevate the member experience.Confident communication skills, both written and verbal, you know how to connect, engage, and inspire.Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, hybrid environment.A background or interest in music, hospitality, or the creative industries is a definite plus.Most importantly, a true passion for people and a desire to build a connected, vibrant community where everyone feels they belong.
