This role combines CRM system administration, process automation, and ongoing administrative support to ensure a seamless, high-quality experience for RSB's global community of members. These members are active in the governance of RSB - electing our Board of Directors and delegates to our highest decision-making group (the RSB Assembly of Delegates) - and the ongoing development of the sustainability framework and standards for which RSB is globally recognised - all this to accelerate to transition to a sustainable and circular bioeconomy.Your RoleCRM and Systems AdministrationServe as the primary member-focused administrator of RSB's Salesforce CRM and associated toolsManage contact records, segmentation, engagement tracking, and reporting dashboardsAutomate workflows for onboarding, renewals, billing notifications, and platform membership trackingMembership AdministrationOwn core membership admin functions such as status changes, billing support, and data updates, and support other functions led by the Membership & Events ManagerRespond to member queries and support access to platforms, events, and other RSB benefitsLiaise with finance and admin teams to support accurate invoicing and record-keepingMembership Data and Reporting Track and analyse member activity, event attendance, platform participation, and engagement levelsProduce regular reports with insights and recommendations to support strategy and decision-makingEnsure data accuracy, hygiene, and compliance with internal policies and external regulationsProcess Optimisation and ToolingLead the implementation and rollout of new tools, such as a member-facing portalDocument internal workflows and develop templates and SOPs to improve team efficiencyRecommend and implement improvements to backend systems and processes to enhance user experienceCross-Team CollaborationWork closely with the Communications team to support segmentation, email workflows, and messaging alignmentCollaborate with the Organisational Development team on CRM architecture and GDPR complianceSupport programme teams in tracking member access and participation across RSB platformsRequirementsMinimum three years' experience in a CRM- or operations-focused role, with demonstrated Salesforce experienceProficient in data management, including Excel or Google Sheets for reporting and analysisExperience in process automation, systems documentation, and stakeholder supportStrong organisational and communication skills, with a high level of attention to detailAbility to work independently in a remote, multicultural team environmentAvailability for occasional regional and international travelDesirable ExperienceExperience in membership-based organisations, associations, or NGOsFamiliarity with tools such as FormAssembly, Mailchimp, Airtable, or equivalentKnowledge of GDPR or other relevant data protection frameworksInterest in sustainability, climate action, or the circular bioeconomyBenefitsCompetitive salaryExcellent holiday provision with 30 days of annual paid leaveAnnual salary adjustments for cost-of-living increasesFlexible working hoursRemote work in home-office with periodic in-person team meetingsProfessional development opportunitiesImportant InformationLocation: Home office-based, for candidates already currently located in South Africa, Spain or UK and in possession of valid work permit for the location (no relocation or visa sponsorship available).
